Peace Treaty with Yourself
You probably have heard so many times, that that we must
love ourselves in order to heal ourselves.
It’s truly amazing how many people I have met in my
workshops that have an illness with their bodies and have
no idea of what’s going on.
They have been to many doctors and have paid crazy
amounts of money. All the while they are treating the
symptoms although missing the root cause all together.
After spending a bit of time with them, they begin
to realize that they do not love themselves. In fact many of
them literally hate themselves with a passion.
In my workshops they begin to see that they have
continuously attacked themselves with a repeating script of
who they thought they were and begin to realize why their
bodies have begun breaking down.
The bottom line is if you attack something long enough
you will cause it to change. Most people have no idea of
what the power of belief can do. I have seen miracles
created by the power of belief and know that the power
of belief can move mountains. I have also witnessed the
power of belief cause a very fragile human structure to
breakdown and become sick.
I have seen this with many cancer structures in the body.
Suppressed, stuck anger that blows holes in the human
frame work. Illness caused by a belief that attacking
something or holding onto something is the best form of
action. Which on a deeper level we see this is not true.
We must learn how to breathe in and to let it go. We
must be like a river and to allow flow to take place. To
remember how to move around obstacles and to let go of
anger, resistance or anything that causes stress in our
bodies.
A way of doing this is about becoming responsible for our
bodies and realizing that we must learn to have a more
kind relationship with them. These bodies are the houses
that we live in. We are in them 24/7 for as long as the
years we have here.
I’m not asking you to love yourself although, I am asking
you to at least to become somewhat more friendly with
your house-body that you live in. To allow peace to be
present inside of you.
To be honest with yourself you may realize that you may
not love yourselves for whatever the reason. Yes it may be
true that you may not like yourself, and it may be true that
for most of you, that you may hate yourselves.
Ask yourself this question and wait for an answer to come,
where is your internal relationship with yourself? Do you
like yourself?
I believe the first step is to pause and allow yourself the
time to get in touch with your relationship with who you
think you are. To get real with yourself. To be honest with
your relationship with your body, are you attacking it with
your thoughts? What do you see when you look into the
mirror? What names are you calling it?
If you have had thoughts, of finding a way out of here and
perhaps one of your choices may even be to the extent of
taking your own life, I strongly believe it’s a waste of time
for if you did, you would probably soon find out afterwards
that you are still yourself, although now without a body.
OMG now what are you going to do…
There truly is no escape from yourself. Many disbelieve this
and induce themselves with a number of “time out”
remedies, such as alcohol, drugs, sex, TV, internet, endless
amounts of senseless chatter and so on.
I believe that the most sensible thing is to try find peace
within you. Yes it does sound easier than done.
Q: How do you find peace?
Answer: You must be willing to begin an internal dialog.
Working towards an agreement to create a peace treaty
within yourself.
There’s a message from a long while ago, that still holds
true to this day and it goes like this. “Within me lies the
Kingdom of heaven.”
What this says to me, is that within my body is where I will
find my peace. Although if we are so busy attacking the
doorway of ourselves with negative thoughts about who
and what believe we are, then how can we truly ever enter
into the place of peace?
Once we make the agreement to participate with being in a
Peace Treaty with our bodies, only then will you begin to
observe your thoughts. When you begin to see your script,
the internal tape that runs in your head, then you begin to
see that this is not serving you or your physical body.
My name is Robert Berman and this is what my workshops
are about. I know that this is a difficult time that is now
upon each of us. I believe that if we truly do the work then
there is a light to be found in each and everyone of us.
I am not a healer, although in my workshops I am a way
shower, a reminder of things we forgot. My promise is that
I will try assist you back into a more peaceful alignment
with your life journey.
I do not want to fool you, I still have my difficult days and I
still fall down as well. Although I do know how to get back
up and this is what I am here to share with you. I invite you
to begin to have a Peace Treaty with Yourself
Much Love
